Beats by Dr. Dre

Beats Solo Pro on Ear headphones Active Noise Cancelling

Beats headphones have become ubiquitous with young people on the go, in the gym, etc. The design has been updated with a matte finish instead of the glossy finish from

These Beats Solo Pro Wireless headphones Click here for more info. will give you up to 40 hours of battery time but with the Active Noise Cancelling on it will playback for 22 hours. Still plenty of time to get your destination plus a gaggle of workouts. And if you need to charge up, a 10 minute charge will give you up to 3 hours of listening time.

They turn on by simply unfolding and turn off by folding them back in. And it is water and sweat resistant. You cant have these headphones on celebrity athletes heads and get them ruined by sweat.

Since Apple owns Beats it only seems to logical that Apple products will just about link to these headphones instantaneously. And you can share your music or videos with another Apple listening device, like AirPods. But Android lovers rejoice because you can still pair these up the same way as you pair all devices.

They have 70% more surface area of padding on the ear cups and fit a but snugger. A theory is it is to help with the Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) isolate a bit better with a tighter fit. You need to have a good seal on your ears to achieve that. You will only feel the snugness if you have a big noggin. Like a pair of skinny jeans…I’m just guessing at that point.

So some pressure on your ears may be a consideration if you wear them for hours at a time…Remember, only if you have a large head.

Sound quality is always a good time when you talk about a Beats product. The bass is a bit more refined than its predecessors but still punchy but less boomy. They sound more balanced and definitely more refined.

Which leads to one thing. Where’s Dr. Dre? I think I need a prescription refill.

Beats Solo3 On the Ear Wireless Headphones

No headphone has been as controversial as these bad boys, or girls…which ever you prefer.

The first and second generation of Beats were considered to be bad.Way too much low end sound.

Then Apple bought them and improved the sound and quality of the brand.

They were a huge hit. They became a fashion statement. They were sleek and they came in a myriad of cool colors. Every good fashionista had to have one.

And since Apple bought them the iPhone and the headphone became one instantly. They found and linked instantaneously.

That ease of operation made this headphone a fashion forward must have. You wear them to rool the skool…or something like that.

Beats claims that the battery will last 40 hours on a full charge and that if the battery runs out of juice a 5 minute charge should give 3 hours of music playback. Now that’s pretty impressive.

The one drawback for some is the on the ear design. Since it fits so snugly on the ear, some have experienced some discomfort after wearing them for an extended amount of time.

Now the Beats Solo3 Headphones still has ridiculous bass, but the mid-range bring out the fullness of sound and also gives a pretty good treble sound.

The sparkle of the high end notes are not really there but it is respectable. Especially if you love to listen to very loud music the high ends wont kill your hearing.

The reviews on these headphones really good.

For the price, you cant “Beats” this…Get it Beat. “Beats”…Forget it.

Powerbeats Pro Wireless Earphones

These bad mamma jamma’s are the toast of the town with these over ear hooked earphones. As you can see from watching the embedded YouTube video, these are made for vigorous activity. And athletes love this.

But you don’t have to be a pro athlete to admire he design and sound of these auditory masterpieces. Active people will enjoy the secure fit of these audio juggernauts as well. And Beats are audio juggernauts.

Whether you are a gym rat, runner, golfer, biker, kayaker or boxer…it doesn’t really matter what you do. As long as your active, you will love these.

Not only are these earphones great for vigorous activity but are also water and sweat resistant.

It has a claimed battery life of 9 hours, and by using the case as a charging dock can extend to your playback time to 24 hours.

Evidently the controls are identical for each ear. Saving you the extra brain cells to remember which ear control does what.

These impressive earphones sit kind of around the ear canal rather than in the ear canal. Some still prefer the in the ear canal style, others think that the kind around the ear canal are more comfortable. It’s your preference.

The sound quality of course tends to bass-heads who enjoy the low-end thumping of hip-hop and rap. I wont say that it doesn’t sound great with classical music. The way music sounds is a subjective matter. It’s you who is the auditory god of what you and how you want to listen to your music.

With that said, I think that the Beats Powerbeats Pro Wireless Earphones: Click here to learn more would be a fine purchase for all you young and active people out there.

Now drop and give me 20!

Powerbeats3 Wireless Earphones

A quick review question. What are Beats primarily known for?……….Okay, time’s up.

Your answer please? If you said bass…You are absolutely correct!!! Winner winner, chicken dinner! These have the low end sound like the back end of a lowrider car cruising the boulevard on a Saturday night…I hope that I didn’t just date myself.

Anywhoos, these baby’s will give you bass kicking listening pleasure for 12 hours. And of course since these were built under Apple’s control these will pair easily with an iPhone by using the W1 chip.

Its younger brother the Powerbeats Pro uses a newer chip the H1 chip for seamless linking to the iPhone. The W1 takes one more step to link…Oh the horror!

There are other differences you may want to consider. The Powerbeats Pro has all its controls on the ear pads and will automatically turn on when you unfold them.

The Powerbeats3 has its controls on a wired lanyard and you turn it on by turning on by pushing a switch on the actual earphones.

Once your battery is drained you will have to plug in. Where with the Powerbeats Pro you have a hard case that also acts as a charging base. The case for these are a soft silicon case.

it does have the ear hooks on them to keep them in place during vigorous activity.

The sound profile is essentially all Beats. Heavy on the bass, the rest is kinda secondary. Perfect for Hip Hop and POP music. Not really made for audiophiles (Fuddie Duddies). But a fun experience is to be had with a pair of the Powerbeats3: Click here for more.

Beats Pill+ Wireless Bluetooth Speakers

These speakers have been called magifique, as they say in…what country is that? France, Italy? Oh okay…France. Are these pills of power worthy of such a hefty term? For a small Bluetooth speaker, I wholeheartedly agree.

These little beauties do indeed pack a punch…A mighty punch. Much like a prizefighter with quick jab followed by a right hook then a knockout uppercut…I know, I know. That was a series of punches. But you get the picture…Right?

Think of it this way. A heavyweight fighter has the knockout power to put their opponent on the mat in one mighty punch. A featherweight fighter may take a few punches to put down an opponent. Get it?…Nevermind. I’ll just continue my rant later..

This speaker comes with four speakers. Two tweeters and two woofers placed side by side and the tweeters placed on the outside of the woofers, and it’s in stereo.

These pills will last you 12 hours on a full charge and come with a USB charging port for your smartphone if you need a quick charge.

You can also pair them up with another and use the Beats app to connect them as true stereo speakers.

For their size, these beauts put out a lot of sound, especially for Hip-Hop. The low notes get pretty low and the highs can get really high. I do recommend these Beats Pills+ indubiously. Is that a word?

Just take two Beats Pill+ and call me in the morning…

Listening to music is subjective. The sound that emanates from any of these headphones, earbuds, speakers and the like, will be different for each individual. So please be aware, what may sound good to me doesn’t mean it will sound good to you. Please read or watch reviews on any product that I showcase. Or listen to a friends’. Or, go to a retail store and try it out there. A little knowledge can go a long way…then you can buy from me. (Wink, wink)
